Which documents should I have at hand?

After submitting your first booking request, we'll let you know what documents are needed. To expedite your booking, please upload all required documents to "My Documents" as soon as possible.

We will need:

  • Your current address

  • A valid government-issued identity document for each person moving in. This is required for identity verification through the Wunderflats Account (find more information about identity verification here).

To verify your solvency, you can upload one of the following documents under "My account" -> "My documents"

  • Bank statement - Please ensure that the file meets the following requirements: 
    • Name on the document matches the main tenant’s name 
    • The document is not older than three months 
    • Net balance equals at least one month’s rent 
    • High quality photo or scan 
  • Payslip - Please ensure that the file meets the following requirements: 
    • The name on the payslip matches the tenant’s name 
    • The document is not older than three months 
    • Net income is at least one month’s rent 
    • Good quality displaying the information clearly 
  • If your company pays the rent for you: 
    •  A confirmation that they cover the monthly rent. You can use this template for the confirmation.
  • If you are a student, intern or an apprentice: 

    • Financial evidence (e.g. a current bank account statement) or security by a third party including an income statement and a copy of the guarantor's ID or passport. You can use this guarantee template.

We verify the identity and solvency of all tenants with these documents. You do not need to submit any other documents, such as SCHUFA information.
