1. How much is the One-Time Service Fee for tenants?
The fee varies depending on the location of the apartment. In Germany, Austria, Belgium, Italy, and Spain, the service fee is €299. In France, it is €399, and in Switzerland, it is CHF 299.
The Helfende Wände refugee housing platform is free, the One-Time Service Fee does not apply.
2. When does the tenant have to pay the One-Time Service Fee?
You'll need to pay the Service Fee for tenants once a landlord accepts your request and you want to confirm the booking.
3. How can I pay the One-Time Service Fee?
As a tenant you can pay the fee by credit card, Google Pay, Apple Pay or PayPal.
Tip: The option of Google/Apple Pay is only shown when this payment method is already set up in your device.
4. I already paid the Service Fee. Do I have to pay the One-Time Service Fee for my next bookings?
If you are requesting a new apartment and you are not renewing your current rental agreement, you will be required to pay a new Service Fee. This fee does not apply to any extensions of your current rental agreement.
